This code works once. The moment I take it, it's spent, and I hand you a fresh one in its place.
What the recovery code is
It is the short code I showed you once, right after you signed up, and asked you to write down. It is not your passphrase and it is not your handle. It works one time: using it here sets your new passphrase, and I give you a new code in its place. If you have had a new code since then, only the newest one works.
If you don't have a code
- You made a recovery sheet. Its six words do the same job. Use my six words. Your handle is printed on the sheet too.
- You know your passphrase and only lost the code. You don't need this page. Log in, and Settings will write you a new code.
- Your account is joined to Patreon. Sign in with Patreon. It needs no handle, passphrase or code. It lets you in; it does not reset your passphrase.
- None of these. I can't send you a way back in: no email is kept for any account, so there is nowhere to send one.
